I'm heading to Las Vegas! I'm joining acclaimed authors Steve Brezenoff, Adrian Fogelin, and award-winning moderator, author Joan Kaywell, for a panel discussing homelessness and poverty in teen lit at 2:30 pm and will be signing at the HarperCollins booth #522 at 5:30!

Topic of Interest: Literature

Description: Lower-income families and the struggles they face can be a hard-to-find topic in secondary literature. Children need books that they can relate to, and characters they can see themselves in. This panel of award-winning authors and educators will discuss fiction books for young readers that feature families coping with poverty, homelessness, and the current uncertain economy.
