Cricket...Cricket...

Hi, everyone! Perhaps you have noticed that it's been a bit quiet around here lately...

That's because lots of things are in the works - some DON'T BREATHE A WORD things, some crazy life things, some TELL ME A SECRET audiobook things, some working-on-the-next-book things...

Here's a quick rundown:

DON'T BREATHE A WORD is coming JANUARY 3, 2012!!!!!!

{Teen Book Scene} is hard at work on a seriously epic blog tour for DBAW - three weeks, three stops a day, LOTS and LOTS of prizes and secrets along the way.

Publisher's Weekly and Kirkus loved DBAW!!! Publisher's Weekly called it "a tense, riveting story...tangibly and impressively rendered," and Kirkus said, "the author's considerable narrative gifts keep readers engaged throughout." Thank you, PW and Kirkus!

You can add DON'T BREATHE A WORD to your Goodreads list, and you can preorder it here!

Contact me if you'd like to interview me on your blog or want to help get the word out about DBAW! (There may be swag and secrets involved...)

And...

The TELL ME A SECRET special edition audiobook is now available!

It's gorgeous and shiny, and we worked really hard on it. It's an MP3 disk that you can load on your computer and some cars stereos, plus it has really nifty packaging that we designed and included a booklet with info about the product.

And people are saying very nice things about it!

Audible has bought the rights to distribute the TMAS audio recording on iTunes, so stay tuned for that! The first couple of chapters are still available free via our TMAS site.

Third Novel Update

Last but not least, I've been working on a third novel...top secret, but there will be a few tidbits about it on the DBAW tour. Hint: there may be a few familiar faces cropping up in unexpected places. Plus, as you've come to expect from me, it's full of secrets, twists, suspense, and a whopping emotional rollercoaster.

I'm shamelessly using NANOWRIMO (National Novel Writing Month in November) for writing momentum so I might be a bit quiet for the rest of this month... Hope you accomplish your goals this month, too!

  1. The TMAS special audiobook link goes to Blogger. Can't wait to read DBAW! It's gotten really good reviews so far on Goodreads. :) Good luck with NaNoWriMo! I'm busy up until the 17th so I'm giving it a skip this year. I'll be awaiting news on the 3rd book - and any other news with you - with bated breath.
