Thanks, Jackson High!

Huge thanks to super-librarian Barbara of Jackson High School and University Bookstore for bringing my friend and fellow YA author Conrad Wesselhoeft (ADIOS, NIRVANA) and me out for a visit!

Imagine a gorgeous, light-filled library, a roomful of students asking savvy and smart questions, and a librarian with her own espresso maker? That's right, School Visit Heaven.

The kids put together amazing decorations:

And it was really fun to chat with them about writing, books, and life.

Thank you again, Barbara, staff, and students!

  1. Barbara is amazing (and I'm not just saying that because my husband teaches at Jackson - she really is one of a kind). Glad you had a great time, Holly, and that the students got to hear from two incredible writers!
