a visit with Alice Pope @SCBWI + BAMBOO PEOPLE Winner!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to celebrate the book release of BAMBOO PEOPLE by my dear friend Mitali Perkins. I was lucky enough to get a copy when I went to ALA last week - hooray!

So you want to know the winner, right? *rummaging through the random hat*

A shiny new copy of BAMBOO PEOPLE goes to...Stiletto Storytime!!!

Stiletto, you can contact me at the link above, and I'll try to track you down. :)

Tell Me a Secret - Worldwide Blog Tour

I am so excited for today's stop with Alice Pope, who, after many years as the editor of the Children's Writer's and Illustrator's Market, has become the chief bloggista at SCBWI. Amazingly, she asked me to write an article on "Telling Your Secrets" for the 2011 CWIM (to be released in August). I'm honored to have the chance to visit with her!

Don't forget to comment here and at Alice's stop to win this week's books and prizes!

  1. Congrats, Stiletto Storytime! It looks like an amazing book. :)

I will have to wait for the new tour stop entry until after I wake up tomorrow. It's getting kind of late here in Australia.

What an amazing blog. I'm going to have to follow.

  6. Thanks for stopping by, everyone, and I hope you had a happy 4th! I have so much admiration for Alice and like I commented over on her blog, I'm happy to see she's still part of the kidlitosphere in joining Team SCBWI.

LM, I see you were at ALA. I was at ALA! Did you have an amazing time?
