Aren't they adorable? And so cozy. I love to wear them while I type.
I asked Deanna if she would give up her secrets for DIY Friday, and she pointed me to Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker (uh oh, now my blog is going to be banned by Bing...tsk, tsk...)I've heard this is a great book for beginners, too - in fact, here's a review from YA Librarian Steph.
I haven't crocheted for years, but Deanna is inspiring me to pick up my hooks and go for it. Any other crochet people out there?
What a beautiful gift! And such care to find a color that looks fantastic on you. I haven't crocheted in years, but I may very well check out this book.
ReplyDeleteOK--That looks amazing. And JUST the thing I need for when I type! My fingers get so cold!!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute! And they don't have the individual fingers like most (which bug me). She wouldn't by chance be selling any would she? I just don't have time to learn and make my own...)=
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ladies! I love them.
ReplyDeleteIf you're not into crocheting or knitting but want cute handwarmers, check out these cute ones from Sock Dreams! I wear the basic Harajuku ones all the time.
I'm so stealing those from you the first chance I get, so you'd better hide them well!

LOL, ok, Jackie - I'm dying to know what you think about that other thing you stole! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! I want precious fingerless mittens while I type! (Right now I'm totally thinking about how cold my hands are, typing without them.)
ReplyDeleteVery, very cute. Good job, Holly's friend.
So cute! I used to crochet a long time ago, but I've never been very good at it...oddly, I'm better at knitting but have yet to finish a project...
