Back to the Grindstone

Now that the TELL ME A SECRET cover and readergirlz Teen Read Week graphics have launched (on Thursday, check out how you can get involved with the TRW Tribute!), it's back to regular programming for me...a.k.a. revision, and brainstorming the next first draft.

The good news: Secret Agent Man loved CREED! Woohoo!

The bad (uh, that would be the realistic ) news: It isn't perfect.

Wah. Well, ok, then.

The TRW graphics and excitement over the TMAS cover were most lovely ways to procrastinate, but alas, I have to get back to work. For the next few weeks, I will be poring over Summer Revision Smackdown tips from our treasure trove of authors while surreptitiously jotting down ideas for those tantalizing new voices that keep pressing to be heard...

ARC Requests: Thanks again to everyone who has asked for a review copy of TELL ME A SECRET! I'm very flattered by all of the interest. I'm passing on all requests to my publisher (though I can't promise how many will be available - please don't hold it against me!). Please include your blog link and relevant info about your audience, blog visitors, etc. with your request. Thanks!

  1. Aren't you happy you did all that Summer Revision Smackdown stuff! Can easily fall back on it now, all in one handy spot - your blog!

  2. Hurray for Secret Agent Man's love of CREED! It's very, very reassuring to know you have another good book under your belt, isn't it?

  3. Congrats on everything, Holly!

    Wow, your time is NOW!

  4. Thank you all! Yes, in truth the good news far outweighs the bad. Having SAM in my corner is the most awesome. Now, to figure out how to fix those supposedly minor (but to me, terrifying?) problems?
