SRS Whip-Snapper: Nathan Bransford, Agent

*****Breaking revision news!*****

Thanks to Vivian and Shelley S. for pointing out that Nathan Bransford, Curtis Brown agent and cool guy who just came to the SCBWI WWA conference, posted a Revision Checklist on his blog today. Awesome! Here are a few of his pointers:

- Do you have enough conflict?
- Does the reader see both the best and worst characteristics of your main characters?
- What do your characters want? Is it apparent to the reader? Do they have both conscious and unconscious motivations?

See the rest (plus lots of helpful reader comments) at his blog - thanks, Nathan!

  1. Very cool! Great timing, too--I'm about to jump feet-first into my revision. :)
